Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to improve cycle characteristics of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery while suppressing a decrease in viscosity of negative electrode mixture slurry to maintain good coating properties of the negative electrode mixture slurry. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to an exemplary embodiment is provided with: an electrode body including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode has a negative electrode core and a negative electrode mixture layer formed on the both sides of the negative electrode core. The negative electrode mixture layer includes at least one of carboxymethyl cellulose and a salt thereof, and alkanolamine.
