Abstract:
Provided are: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery negative electrode having excellent longevity; a binder for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. A negative electrode (10) for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery (100) according to the present embodiment is provided with a current collector (1), and a mixture layer (3) which is formed on the current collector (1) and which has an active material and a binder. The binder has formed therein an intermolecular chain network in which crosslinks formed by irreversible binding coexists with crosslinks formed by reversible binding. For example, cross-linking is performed on the binder, and, at this moment, cross-linking unevenness is suppressed by forming reversibly bound crosslinks and irreversibly bound crosslinks, thereby minimizing local concentration of load in the binder.
