Title:
NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/026849
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a nonaqueous electrolyte that is used for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which a negative electrode contains, as negative electrode active material particles, at least one of a silicon compound, a germanium compound and a tin compound; and this nonaqueous electrolyte is characterized by containing a silane compound that is represented by general formula (1). Consequently, the present invention provides: a nonaqueous electrolyte which makes a battery cell insusceptible to expansion even in cases where a silicon material or the like is used as a negative electrode material; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. (1): Si(R1)l(R2)m(R3)4-l-m (In general formula (1), R1 represents an aryl group which is obtained by substituting some or all of hydrogen atoms in an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms with fluorine atoms or fluoroalkyl groups; R2 represents an alkenyl group or alkynyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms; R3 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and each of l and m independently represents an integer of 1 to 3, while satisfying 2 ≤ l + m ≤ 4.)
