Abstract:
Provided is a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode binder that makes it possible to produce a nonaqueous secondary battery having: a low internal resistance; good cycle properties; and an electrode active substance layer that exhibits little cracking and has strong peeling strength from a collector. Also provided is a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode. The nonaqueous secondary battery electrode binder according to the present invention contains a resin component and is water-soluble. The surface free energy γB at 23°C is 70 mJ/m2 or less and the dipole component γp
B of the surface free energy is 26 mJ/m2 or less.
