Title:
NOVEL CELLULOSE-BINDING PROTEIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/017414
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a protein that selectively binds to crystalline cellulose; and a method of using said protein. This protein that selectively binds to crystalline cellulose is any one among (a)-(c) below: (a) a protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1; (b) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 are substituted, deleted, inserted and/or added; and (c) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having a sequence similarity of at least 80% with the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1.
