Abstract:
Compounds comprising of glycosides wherein a lipid is bonded to the 2-position of a sialic acid completely sulfated on the hydroxyl groups at the 4-, 7-, 8- and 9-positions or KDN (2-keto-3-deoxy-D-glycero-2-nononic acid) completely sulfated on the hydroxyl groups at the 4-, 5-, 7-, 8- and 9-positions or salts thereof. These compounds have an antiretroviral activity with little anti coagulant activity and cytotoxicity.
