Abstract:
The present invention relates to a Lactobacillus gasseri LM1065 strain (KCCM13018P), and a composition, for alleviating premenstrual syndrome, comprising same. The Lactobacillus gasseri LM1065 strain (KCCM13018P) according to one implemented embodiment of the present application inhibits NO in the blood and expression of IL-6 genes, increases the production ratio of prostaglandin E1/prostaglandin E2, and increases the DGLA level in the blood, and thus may alleviate premenstrual syndrome. Therefore, said strain may be applied to a food composition, a health functional food composition, a pharmaceutical composition and the like.
