Abstract:
A composition reduced in fat odor which comprises a fat, e.g., a highly unsaturated fatty acid or a compound containing a highly unsaturated fatty acid as a constituent fatty acid, and incorporated therein a carotenoid, e.g., a xanthophyll. Also provided is a method of eliminating a fat odor, characterized by incorporating a carotenoid into a fat.
