Title:
NUCLEIC ACIDS, BY MEANS OF WHICH PLANTS WITH ALTERED METABOLITE CONTENT CAN BE PRODUCED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002010394
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a nucleic acid, coding for a plant transporter of the inner mitochondrial membrane, in particular, a member of the mitochondrial carrier family (MCF) and applications of said nucleic acid. The invention also relates to a method for modulating the transport properties of the inner mitochondrial membrane of a plant, of a plant part, of a plant cell and/or of seeds.
