Abstract:
In order to form, in an object to be machined, a path of movement which is the same as that defined by a machining program, this numerical control apparatus is provided with: a compensated path generation unit (453) which generates a compensated path by modifying the path of movement defined by the machining program by an amount equal to a compensation distance; a move command generation unit (454) which generates a move command for moving a reference point of a tool along the compensated path relative to the object to be machined; a vibration command analysis unit (452) which obtains vibration parameters defining the manner in which the reference point of the tool is caused to vibrate along the compensated path relative to the object to be machined; a command-specified travel distance calculation unit (481); a vibration-distance-along-compensated-path calculation unit (482) which calculates a vibration distance along the compensated path, which is a distance traveled per unit time due to vibration; and a travel distance combination unit (483) which combines a command-specified travel distance with the vibration distance along the compensated path, thereby producing a combined travel distance.
