Abstract:
Provided are an object sensing system whereby the area in which an object can be sensed can be enlarged, a sensor system, an air conditioning system, an object sensing method, and a program. An object sensing system (1) is provided with a switching unit (12), a decision unit (11), and a background correction unit (13). The switching unit (12) switches a sensing area between a plurality of areas including at least a specific area. The decision unit (11) determines whether an object is present in a sensing area on the basis of the result of comparing the output data of a temperature sensor (2) for sensing the temperature of the sensing area and background data corresponding to each of a plurality of areas. The background correction unit (13) corrects the background data corresponding to the specific area on the basis of a change in temperature in a period for which the sensing area is an area other than the specific area.
