Abstract:
An oil-based ball-pen ink composition which comprises a) a colorant, b) a solvent ingredient comprising as the main solvent at least one solvent having the following chemical formula (1)(wherein R?1¿, R?2¿, and R?3¿ each independently is hydrogen or CH¿3?), and c) a resin soluble in the solvent ingredient and has a viscosity at 25°C of 700 to 8,000 mPa•s, preferably 800 to 6,000 mP a s, excluding 6,000 mPa•s. In one embodiment thereof, the main solvent is a mixture of the at least one solvent and propylene glycol monomethyl ether.
