Abstract:

An oil hose wherein (1) the inner layer comprises a vulcanized hydrogenated nitrile rubber compound, the intermediate layer comprises a copolymer rubber compound composed of a vulcanized unsaturated nitrile and a conjugated diene, and the outer layer comprises a vulcanized ozone-resistant rubber compound, or (2) the inner layer comprises a copolymer rubber compound composed of a vulcanized hydrogenated unsaturated nitrile, a conjugated diene, and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the two monomers, and the outer layer comprises a vulcanized ozone-resistant rubber compound. This hose is excellent in the resistance to oil, heat and copper ions and enables tight caulking at the joint of the hose with a copper pipe, thus being prevented from causing oil leakage at low temperature.
