An oil-in-water emulsion composition, a preparation method therefor and a product, wherein the composition comprises: a) cellulose having a hydrophobic group; b) a surfactant; c) a higher alcohol; d) oil; e) water; and optionally, f) humectant and/or g) a higher fatty acid. The viscosity of the composition is below 10,000mPa·s.
