Abstract:
Provided is an oil-in-water-type emulsion composition comprising the components (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) mentioned below, in which the total content of the components (A) and (B), i.e., (A)+(B), is 1 to 30% by mass, and the mass ratio of the amount of the component (B) to the total amount of the components (A) and (B), i.e., (B)/((A)+(B)), is 0.05 to 0.9: the component (A): a hydrocarbon oil having a liquid form at 25°C; component (B): at least one component selected from a higher fatty acid, a higher alcohol and an ester oil each having a liquid form at 25°C; component (C): 0.1 to 5% by mass of at least one component selected from a cationic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant; component (D): 2 to 20% by mass of at least one component selected from a ceramide compound, a hydrocarbon oil having a paste form at 25°C and an ester oil having a paste form at 25°C; and component (E): water.
