Abstract:

A oil-tanker gas supply system using two fuels, the system comprising: LNG fuel tanks (4a, 4b) disposed above a main deck (6) and respectively located on a starboard side and a port side of the main deck (6) in front of a superstructure (20); an engine room located below the main deck (6); and a fuel gas processing room (1) disposed above the main deck (6). Fuels in the LNG fuel tanks (4a, 4b) are transported to the fuel gas processing room (1) for processing, and are transported to apparatuses that use gas in the engine room. The oil-tanker gas supply system using two fuels is installed on a large oil tanker so as to solve the problem of storing LNG as fuel power and the problem of delivery arrangement of the gas supply system, thus providing greater flexibility in fuel selection for ships. Moreover, the cargo capacity of the oil tanker is not affected by the gas supply system, and remains the same with that of conventional fuel tankers of the same type.
