Title:
OLIGOPEPTIDE SEQUENCE SPECIFICALLY BONDING TO PHENYLBORONIC ACID GROUP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/105471
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide, as a method for immobilizing a protein molecule, a protein immobilizing method and means that enables control of the orientation of a molecule to be immobilized, that does not require complicated steps, that is capable of stable immobilization, and that uses a chemical group for immobilization that does not impact the activity or function of the protein. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for immobilizing a molecule that comprises a step for adhering a labeled peptide sequence containing a hydroxyl group-containing amino acid to a molecule to form a labeled molecule and a step for bringing a molecule having a phenylboronic acid group into contact with the labeled molecule to capture the labeled molecule with the molecule having a phenylboronic acid group.
