Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to use, during backup operation, both an operation that supplies power to a common load from a first power storage unit and an operation that supplies power to the common load from a second power storage unit. In at least a prescribed state in which supply of power from a power supply unit (90) to loads (91–95) has been cut off or reduced, an onboard backup control device (1) performs a backup operation that supplies power to the loads (91–95) on the basis of power from a first power storage unit (71) and a second power storage unit (72). The backup control device (1) has: a supply circuit (30) that supplies power to a load (93) from the first power storage unit (71) and the second power storage unit (72); and a first control unit (41) and a second control unit (42) that control, at the supply circuit (30), an operation that supplies power to the load (93) from the first power storage unit (71) and an operation that supplies power to the load (93) from the second power storage unit (72).
