Disclosed is an operating method for a voice authentication system and device, which belongs to the field of information security. The method comprises: an application server sending user information sent by an application interface and a saved application name to an authentication server; the authentication server generating an authentication push request according to a generated challenge value, the user information and the application name, and sending same to a mobile terminal token; the mobile terminal token generating voice information according to the authentication push request, collecting a voice response of a user, when it is determined that login can be authorized according to the voice response, generating a first response value according to challenge value and sending same to the authentication server; and the authentication server generating a second response value according to the challenge value, and returning a successful authentication result when the two response values are the same. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, authentication information is informed to a user in the manner of a voice, and voice information is generated via a challenge value, so that a click error caused by the mistake of the user is prevented, the user is conveniently reminded of the current information, and the time delay of authentication is avoided, thereby increasing the security.
