Abstract:
Disclosed is an operation control device for allowing operation of an onboard device even during vehicle travel in the case that an passenger is present, without being provided with a special hardware configuration for detecting the passenger. The operation control device is provided with an operation prohibiting unit (S40) for prohibiting operation for operating units (36, 37) when the vehicle is determined to be traveling. The operation control device is further provided with a canceling unit (S18) for canceling prohibition of operation for the operating units (36, 37) by the operating prohibiting unit (S40) in the case that a voice generated in the vehicle is detected when movement of a driver's mouth is not detected.
