Abstract:
An operation device having an operation button for undergoing pressing operation
and a support member for guiding the operation button in the direction of pressing
operation. The operation button has a first guided section (22) and a second guided
section (24), and the support member has a first guiding surface (34) and second
guiding surfaces (43, 44). The first guiding surface (34) surrounds the first
guided section (22). The first guided section (22) is rotatable while being in
sliding contact with the first guiding surface (34) and has a shape allowing the
rotation center axis (O) of first guided section (22) to be held at a constant position.
The second guiding surfaces (43, 44) are opposite to each other across a perpendicular
axis (G) perpendicular to the rotation center axis (O) and, simultaneously,
in parallel with the perpendicular axis (G). The second guided section (24) is
capable of being in sliding contact with the second guiding surfaces (43, 44)
and the position of the sliding contact is variable in the direction perpendicular
to the perpendicular axis (G).
