Abstract:
One embodiment relates to an operation method of sidelink remote UE in a wireless communication system in which: the remote UE performs measurement for one or more candidate relay UEs; the remote UE reports the measurement to a base station; the remote UE receives RRCReconfiguration from the base station; the remote UE starts a first timer initiated on the basis of the RRCReconfiguration reception; and the remote UE performs a PC5 connection establishment procedure with target relay UE associated with path switching, wherein the first timer is extended by as much as a second timer which is initiated upon RRCConnectionReject reception, on the basis of which the target relay UE has received RRCConnectionReject from the base station.
