Abstract:
An ophthalmic device for measuring the fragility of the Zinn's zonule of a subject's eye, comprising: a lighting unit for lighting the subject's eye including the lens; an image-capturing unit, which is provided with an image-capturing element, for capturing an image of the anterior ocular section lighted by the lighting unit; and a determination unit for processing the anterior ocular image, that has been captured by the image-capturing unit and stimulated so as to induce the migration of the lens relative to the pupil of the subject's eye, to obtain data concerning the position of a feature point of the lens, detecting the operating state of the lens, relative to the pupil, returning the state prior to the stimulation, and then determining the fragility of the Zinn's zonule based on the operating state thus detected.
