Abstract:
The present invention comprises an engaging part (44) that engages with a first or second hole (36, 37) of a connection component (32), one end of which engages with a small double core optical connector, and a cleaning medium (45) that protrudes from said engaging part (44). The engaging part (44) is formed in a shape that engages with the first or second hole (36, 37), respectively, in first or second orientations, which are orientations that are rotated 180 degrees centered on the middle (P2) of an imaginary line that connects the centers of two ferrules to each other when viewed from the axial direction of the small double core optical connector. The engaging part (44) contacts one ferrule when in the first orientation and contacts the other ferrule when in the second orientation. It is possible to provide an optical connector cleaning tool capable of cleaning the connection end faces of a small double core optical connector that has two ferrules inside a single casing.
