Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel structure for making a tab less likely to detach, while making it possible to press down a latch part through a pulling force on the tab. [Solution] The optical connector pertaining the present invention has: a ferrule; a housing provided with a latch part for engaging with an adapter, the housing accommodating the ferrule; and a tab. This optical connector has a rotating member supported so as to be able to rotate with respect to the housing. When the tab moves toward the rear, the front end part of the tab pushes the rear end part of the rotating member up, the rotating member rotates, and the front end part of the rotating member presses the latch part down.
