Abstract:
An optical connector (100) has a light blocking section (160), which is held coaxially with an output end surface (61) that is being held, and which blocks primary light when the primary light is outputted from the output end surface (61) in a state wherein a first holding member (110) is attached to a connecting unit (130), and a second holding member (120) is not attached from the connecting unit (130). The optical connector (100) has an attachable/detachable region section (170) in order to attach and detach the second holding member (120) to and from the connecting unit (130) from between the connecting unit (130) and the light blocking section (160), said attachable/detachable region section being provided between the connecting unit (130) and the light blocking section (160).
