Abstract:
The present technology relates to an optical device and an information processing method, which make it possible to more easily control attitude. According to the present technology, an optical device irradiates a subject with light, picks up an image of a predetermined range of the subject, said predetermined range including a subject portion irradiated with the light, and performs, using the picked up image obtained by picking up the image of the subject, processing relating to attitude control. For instance, the optical device displays an image indicating the target shape of the light with which the subject is irradiated, said image being displayed by being superimposed on the picked up image. Furthermore, for instance, the optical device sets, on the basis of the picked up image, information relating to attitude with respect to the subject. The present technology can be applied to, for instance, optical devices, electronic apparatuses, and information processing devices.
