A lid (8) of an optical device (10) is divided into: a first lid section (5) fixed to a side wall section (4) so as to cover a light-receiving section (1a) in which an optical window (52) functions as an effective area for an LCOS element (1); and a second lid section (6) fixed to the side wall section (4) and the first lid section (5) so as to cover an electrode terminal (3) and a wire (7) connecting the electrode terminal (3) and a semiconductor element (1b).
