Abstract:
An optical element, a light source module, and a display device. The optical element comprises a phase diffraction grating and an amplitude diffraction grating. The phase diffraction grating comprises a central recessed portion and a plurality of annular steps. The annular steps surround the central recessed portion. The central recessed portion and the annular steps form a recess, wherein a light source is arranged in the recess and emits light toward the optical element. Each annular step has a step surface. Each step surface comprises a plurality of annular microstructures arranged in concentric circles. The width of each annular microstructure of the at least one annular step is less than or equal to a quarter wavelength of the light. The amplitude diffraction grating comprises a central protruding portion and a plurality of annular portions. The central protruding portion is aligned with the central recessed portion. The annular portions surround the central protruding portion.
