Disclosed is a screen (100) which has a light diffusion layer (10) wherein microcapsules (11), each of which having inside a light diffusing liquid that diffuses light that displays an image, are planarly arranged. The light diffusion layer (10) is fixed to a supporting sheet (12) by means of a binder material (1A). On the surface of the supporting sheet (12), Fresnel lenses (18) are formed. A light diffusion plate (1) is configured of the light diffusion layer (10) and the supporting sheet (12). The screen (100) is configured of the light diffusion plate (1) and a light diffusion plate (2). The scattering distribution of the scattering waves of light that passes through the light diffusion layer (10) changes with time. Scintillation can be reduced with such configuration.
