Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an optical film 100 comprises: a high refractive index layer 103; and a low refractive index layer 104. The high refractive index layer 103 has a plurality of optical elements 103A which protrude toward the low refractive index layer 104. The optical elements 103A are embedded in the low refractive index layer 104. The ratio of hardness obtained through division of a nano-indentation hardness at a position 1 μm in the thickness direction inside the high refractive index layer 103 from an interface between an apex 103T of each of the optical elements 103A and the low refractive index layer 104, by a nano-indentation hardness at a position 10 μm in the thickness direction inside the high refractive index layer 103 from the interface is 1.036 or higher.
