Abstract:
An optical frequency comb generation device (100) and method, a light emission device (200), and an optical communication system (700), which are applied to scenarios such as optical communications and laser radars. The optical frequency comb generation device (100) comprises a laser device (10), an optical splitter (20), a frequency shifter (30) and an optical micro-cavity (40). The laser device (10) is used for generating a source scanning beam with a frequency thereof changing in a first direction; the optical splitter (20) is used for decomposing the source scanning beam into a first scanning beam and a second scanning beam, and the optical power of the first scanning beam is equal to or greater than a nonlinear effect power threshold value of the optical micro-cavity (40); the frequency shifter (30) is used for changing the frequency of the second scanning beam, so as to generate a third scanning beam with a frequency thereof changing in a second direction; and the optical micro-cavity (40) is used for generating, when the first scanning beam is located in a red detuning area thereof and the third scanning beam is located in a blue detuning area thereof, a target beam with an optical spectrum thereof being a target optical frequency comb. The optical frequency comb generation device (100) provided can generate an optical frequency comb with a relatively narrow line width, such that the applicability and practicability thereof are relatively high.
