Abstract:
In percentage by weight, this optical glass contains 15 - 36% SiO2, 13 - 31% B2O3, 4 - 27% Al2O3, 0 - 19% Ta2O5, 0 - 10% ZrO2, and 0 - 10% Nb2O5, wherein Ta2O5 + Nb2O5 + ZrO2 ≥ 7.1%. The index of refraction nd is equal to or greater than 1.54 and less than 1.61, and Abbe's number vd is an optical constant in the range of 50 - 57. Furthermore, ΔPg,F, which indicates anomalous dispersion properties is −0.004 or less.
