Abstract:
Provided is an optical laminate that fundamentally solves problems peculiar to bonding layers and adhesive layers such as biting in of bubbles arising because of brightness enhancing films and polarizing plates being bonded together via adhesive layers and that gives rise to no axial offsetting of light polarized and separated by the brightness enhancing films.
This optical laminate includes at least one layer of a brightness enhancing layer (X) and an absorption type polarizing layer (Y), and the brightness enhancing layer (X) and the absorption type polarizing layer (Y) are layered adjacently without a bonding layer or an adhesive layer interposed therebetween.
