Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical member for use in a display device having a specific light-emitting part, the optical member including a specific light-bending part and a light-absorbing part which has an absorption waveform selected from specific absorption waveforms A to D and which also has the absorption waveform B or C. The present invention also provides a display device including the same. Absorption waveform B: a specific absorption waveform in which two wavelengths giving half the absorbance of an absorption maximum exist in the wavelength region exceeding λBMax and less than λGMax
Absorption waveform C: a specific absorption waveform in which two wavelengths giving half the absorbance of an absorption maximum exist in the wavelength region exceeding λGMax and less than λRMax
Additionally, the units of wavelength are all nm in the above formulas (1) and (2). λBMax: maximum emission wavelength exhibited by blue light emission by display device
λGMax: maximum emission wavelength exhibited by green light emission by display device
λRMax: maximum emission wavelength exhibited by red light emission by display device
