Abstract:
Through the optical modulator and optical transceiver according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the propagation efficiency of an optical signal can be improved. An optical modulator (10) comprises a substrate (50); coplanar lines (40) having a first ground line (41), a second ground line (42), and a signal line (43); a waveguide (20) that is positioned between the first ground line (41) and the signal line (43) and has an optical signal input part (21) and output part (22); and an adjustment member (30) that is positioned between the second ground line (42) and the signal line (43) and does not have an optical signal input part and output part.
