Abstract:
An optical module comprises a light forming unit which forms light, and a protection member which has an exit window that transmits the light from the light forming unit, and which is disposed so as to enclose the light forming unit. The light forming unit includes a base member, a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements mounted on the base member and emitting different wavelengths of light, and a filter which is mounted on the base member and which directly receives and coaxially combines diverging light from the plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements.
