Abstract:
Provided is an optical module, comprising: a circuit board; an optical emission assembly, which is electrically connected to the circuit board and configured to emit an optical signal; an optical receiving assembly, configured to receive the optical signal from the outside of the optical module; and a flexible board, configured to connect the optical receiving assembly and the circuit board. The optical receiving assembly comprises: a housing; an optical receiving device, which is provided in the housing and configured to receive an optical signal of an external fiber; and a transimpedance amplifier, which is provided on the surface of the flexible board inserted into the housing, is electrically connected to the optical receiving device, is electrically connected to the circuit board by means of the flexible board, and is configured to transmit an amplified electrical signal to the circuit board. In the optical module of the present application, the optical receiving assembly is integrated on the flexible board, and then the optical receiving assembly is connected to the circuit board by means of the flexible board, preventing chips of a transmitting end and a receiving end from being integrated on the circuit board, separating, by means of an external flexible board, the distance between transmitting and receiving chips in the space, and solving the problem of circuit crosstalk by means of space isolation, position isolation, etc.
