Abstract:
This optical path route design device (20A) comprises a transmission/reception route selection unit (20), a candidate selection unit (21), an existing presence/absence determination unit (22), a maximum resource 3R selection unit (23), and a new 3R selection unit (24). This design device (20A) selects two relay stations in which transmission/reception end points are provided, selects route pair of a working 0-system route and a backup 1-system route that connect the transmission/reception end points and do not overlap each other, and a backup third route that bypasses the route pairs via the relay stations, and allocates a resource amount of a predetermined number of wavelengths to a shared 3R shared by a plurality of route pairs on the third route.
