Abstract:
An optical scanner apparatus is composed without using any arc sin θ correction lens, while maintaining the image quality. The clock period of a dot clock, which is actually used in accordance with the scan direction of a light flux, exhibits an error, which is equal to or less than one period of master clocks, relative to the clock period of a dot clock that is such a theoretical value that the light fluxes corresponding to the dots have equal intervals, and further exhibits periodic differences, which are errors equal to or less than one period of the master clocks, relative to the clock periods of the preceding and following dot clocks. Moreover, the dot clocks are sequentially generated in such a manner that a difference is equal to or less than unity between a number of master clocks obtained by accumulating dot clocks from a dot clock corresponding to a light flux scan starting position to a dot clock to be generated and a number of master clocks that is obtained, as a theoretical value, by accumulating dot clocks that correspond, as theoretical values, to dot clocks from the dot clock corresponding to the light flux scan starting position to the dot clock to be generated.
