Abstract:
This optical sheet is configured from a laminate that is formed by laminating: a polarization layer having a polarization function; and a light-absorbing layer comprising a material including resin and at least one type of light absorbing agent, and absorbing light in a specific wavelength region in a visible light region. The optical sheet has, in a light absorption spectrum, a first peak having a peak wavelength P1 of absorptance in a wavelength region of 460-510 nm inclusive, and a second peak having a peak wavelength P2 of absorptance in a wavelength region of 430-680 nm inclusive. Further, when the average transmittance of visible light in a wavelength region of 475-650 nm inclusive is denoted by TAVE, and the minimum transmittance of visible light in the wavelength region of 475-650 nm inclusive is denoted by TMIN, TMIN/TAVE is 0.20 or more.
