Abstract:
The optical transmission device pertaining to the present invention is provided with: an optical connector connection part in which a connector part of an optical cable is installed; a light emitting end for emitting light for transmitting an optical signal via the optical cable, and radiating light to a reflecting face of the connector; and a drive part for driving the reflecting face when the connector part is installed in a first orientation and causing the light radiated to the reflecting face to be refracted toward the optical transmission path of the optical cable by refraction of the light by the reflecting face, and, when the connector part is connected in a second orientation different from the first orientation, driving the reflecting face and causing the light radiated to the reflecting face to be refracted toward the optical transmission path of the optical cable by refraction by the reflecting face.
