Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organ-on-a-chip structure and a method for testing the pharmacokinetic behavior of a drug to be tested in the lumina and inside the organs of a living body, the organ-on-a-chip structure comprising: one or more insert modules each having cultured cells; and a chip in which the insert modules can be inserted and arranged, wherein a chip is formed by inserting the insert modules into the chip, the chip includes an upper fluid channel, a lower fluid channel, and an upper fluid channel flow rate control unit capable of adjusting the cross-sectional area of the upper fluid channel, and forms an organ-on-a-chip in which an organ is simulated, and the multi-organ microfluidic chip structure is formed by co-cultivating the organ-on-a-chip.
