Abstract:
An organic EL device having a performance equivalent to or better than those of conventional organic devices using organic materials and including a hole injection transport layer and an electron injection transport layer, a long life, a weatherability, a high stability, and a high efficiency, produced less costly and easily even if it has two or more light-emitting layers, and having stable physical properties at interfaces between the films, comprising a substrate, a hole injection electrode, an electron injection electrode, both electrodes being provided on the substrate, a light-emitting layer provided between the electrodes and containing an organic substance, and an inorganic insulating electron injection transport layer provided between the light-emitting layer and the electron injection electrode and containing as a main component 80 mol % or more of lithium oxide in terms of Li¿2?O based on the whole components and as a stabilizer magnesium oxide.
