Abstract:
An organic EL display device (1) comprising an organic EL element (18) provided in a display region (D) of a base substrate (10), and a sealing film (25) provided so as to cover the organic EL element (18), the sealing film having a first barrier layer (19) that comprises a first inorganic film and is provided on the surface of the organic EL element (18), a buffer layer (20) that comprises an organic film and is provided on the surface of the first barrier layer (19), and a second barrier layer (21) that comprises a second inorganic film and is provided on the surface of the buffer layer (20), wherein a plurality of micropores (27) are formed in the surface (26) of the first barrier layer (19) that is in contact with the buffer layer (20).
