Abstract:
An organic EL display device that reliably prevents the occurrence of light emission defects. This organic EL display device comprises: a display region comprising a plurality of pixels; a substrate having a frame region adjacent to the display region; a lower electrode provided in each of the plurality of pixels; an organic material layer arranged upon the lower electrodes; an upper electrode arranged upon the organic material layer and covering the display region; a conductor provided in the frame region and connected to the upper electrode; and a rib provided upon the conductor. The upper electrode is arranged upon the conductor, having the rib interposed therebetween. A first contact section in which the upper electrode and the conductor are in contact is positioned in the frame region. The rib has a side surface positioned on the opposite side to the display region in the first contact section and an end section of the upper electrode faces the side surface.
