Abstract:
Provided are an organic EL material, and an organic EL device having an emission layer including said organic EL material, wherein the organic EL material does not include an expensive rare metal, has a structure represented by formula: X1-(Y1)p-Z-(Y2)q-X2 [in the formula, X1 and X2 independently represent a donor site having a specific structure, Y1 and Y2 independently represent a linker group which is a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a divalent aromatic heterocyclic group, Z represents an acceptor site, and p and q independently represent 0 or 1.], has a relatively high external quantum efficiency, and can control the luminous spectrum by selecting a host matrix or controlling a load voltage.
