Abstract:
Provided are an organic electroluminescence element (10), and a light extraction sheet (2) for an organic electroluminescence element, having an excellent performance in terms of light extraction efficiency and weather resistance. The organic electroluminescence element (10) is characterized in being provided with: a main organic electroluminescence element body (1) having an element substrate (11), a first electrode (12) formed on the element substrate, an organic compound layer (13), which is formed on the first electrode and which includes a light emission layer, and a second electrode (14) formed on the organic compound layer; and a light extraction sheet (2) on the light extraction surface-side of the main organic electroluminescence element body, the light extraction sheet (2) having a glass cloth (2a) in which there is used a glass fiber containing a total of 2.5 mass parts or more of total cerium in terms of CeO2 and total titanium in terms of TiO2 in relation to 100 mass parts of a matrix component comprising soda-lime glass.
