Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/184219
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an organic EL element that is equipped with a capping layer configured from two layers, which are a first capping layer and a second capping layer having a higher refractive index than the first capping layer, with a view to achieving an improved light extraction efficiency as compared with an organic EL element formed from a unilaminar capping layer. The present invention pertains to an organic electroluminescence element which at least has an anode, a hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer, an electron transport layer, a cathode, and a capping layer in this order, wherein: the capping layer is structured to have two layers consisting of a first capping layer and a second capping layer; within a wavelength range of 450-650 nm, the second capping layer has a greater refractive index than the first capping layer; and the second capping layer comprises an arylamine compound having a specific structure.
