Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent device of the present invention comprises at least a first conductive layer, a charge transport layer formed by a wet film forming method, an emissive layer and a second conductive layer which are laminated on a base material, in which (1) the charge transport layer includes a charge injection layer that comes into contact with the first conductive layer, (2) the film thickness of the charge transport layer is between 130 and 1000 nm, and (3) the charge injection layer includes a crosslinked aromatic amine polymer. The base material is a glass base material, and the minimum tangent of the surface waviness on the first conductive layer side of the glass base material is 4.00×10-6 or greater or the maximum tangent of waviness is 22×10-6 or greater.
